Aging well and maintaining brain fitness are very hot topics, especially as Baby Boomers race toward turning seventy at the rate of one every seven seconds.
Aging Successfully begins at birth. Everything we do in life helps or hinders this process. Learning simple (not necessarily easy) tools and techniques can guide you on a path of aging well. It is never too late or too early to take steps in this process. Aging well is a life long journey and can begin at any time for any person.
What People Are Saying
"Our seniors love Barbara's programs designed to promote overall health and wellness from the "top of your head to the tips of your toes. Barbara's perky and lighthearted style engages the audience with presentations that at are lively, informative, interactive and fun. Her sessions are like eating potato chips: One taste and you're hooked. So our ministry keeps inviting her back to do more."
Thank you so much for such a wonderful Caregiver Workshop. The Support Group Members truly enjoyed your presentation. I have received so many compliments and positive feedback and requests to have you join us again as well.
You bring such a fun, positive, supportive, caring, educational and light hearted approach to a very critical and important topic. Topics they deal with each and every day. Caregivers can relate to your teachings and love that you invite their participation in different exercises and share a surprise here and there.
I myself & others describe feeling uplifted after attending your workshop. Just the "Breath of Fresh Air" that they needed is also a comment.
"Barbara is one of our most popular teachers. To quote Barbara's students at OASIS, her course on Mental Aerobics was "stimulating, encouraging, inspiring, and practical. It was a magnificent educational experience."
What a presentation! You are a gift to the older population…the way you facilitate, create discussion, collaboration and laughter! Folks have been calling me up and stopping by praising your name. We have 60 already signed up for February’s event. I too look forward to next month’s topic. By the way, 25 plus have already shown interest in groups focused on the “100 Days to Successful Aging” workbook. A testament to the importance of the topic and to your abilities!
I do feel that it is my responsibility to share some comments from the participants:
“great sense of humor”
“she is great”
